WAYNE, N.J.  – Senior right hander Adam Miller's outing in a 2-0 win against Montclair State April 5 was the definition of gutsy. The hurler threw 132 pitches across 8.2 scoreless innings, fanning nine batters while allowing just four hits to earn the April 9 Pioneer of the Week honor.
 
The West Orange, N.J. native faced 32 batters in 8.2 innings of effort, lowering his earned run average for the season to an anemic 0.68 across 26.1 innings of work.
 
The Pioneers (14-8) host Merchant Marine Academy Tuesday, April 10, with the first pitch slated for 3:45 p.m.
