WAYNE, N.J. – Junior women’s swimmer Vera Blazevska (Wayne, N.J./Wayne Valley) was selected as the Feb. 1 William Paterson Pioneer of the Week.
 
Blazevska captured three events for the Pioneers, taking the 100 (1:11.00) and 200 (2:29.90) breasts and the 400 IM (4:51.77) at Ramapo Jan. 26. She also was a triple winner at Montclair State Jan. 30, capturing the 100 (1:10.37) and 200 (2:31.70) breasts along with the 200 IM (2:21.95).
