WAYNE, N.J. – Sophomore women’s swimmer Vera Blazevska (Wayne, N.J./Wayne Valley) was named the Feb. 2 William Paterson Pioneer of the Week.
 
Blazevska was a triple winner Jan. 31 against Montclair State, finishing first in the 100 breast (1:09.02), 200 IM (2:21.86) and 200 breast (2:28.03) in the second-fastest time of her career.
