WAYNE, N.J. – Women’s basketball junior guard Sara Luberto (Midland Park, N.J./Midland Park) was named the Jan. 5 William Paterson Pioneer of the Week.
 
Luberto was selected as the Keene State Holiday Tournament Most Valuable Player after averaging 13.0 points during two WP victories. She scored a game-high and career-best 21 points during a 65-53 championship game win Dec. 31 against Keene State, and had five tallies and two steals in a 68-62 win against Regis in the first round Dec. 30.
