WAYNE, N.J. – Baseball senior second baseman Miguel Lugo (Jersey City, N.J./St. Mary’s) was named the William Paterson Pioneer of the Week April 19.

Lugo hit .400 (8-20) last week with a double, three RBI and four runs scored, adding one sacrifice for a .500 on-base percentage and a .450 slugging percentage. He went 4-for-4 with a double, two RBI and three runs scored during a 10-7 win against New Jersey City April 16, and he was 2-for-4 and drove in a run during the first game of a doubleheader against The College of New Jersey April 17.
