PITMAN, N.J. – Senior Maria Funiciello (Wayne, N.J./Wayne Valley) was named the New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) Women's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week Sept. 28.

She scored the game-winning goal during a 2-1 come-from-behind win at Sarah Lawrence Sept. 23 for her first score of the season.

Funiciello and the Pioneers resume action Wednesday, Sept. 30, for a 7:00 p.m. road conference game at Rutgers-Newark.
