Three Pioneers Collect CSC Academic All-District Baseball Team Honors

WAYNE, N.J. – Junior Ty Kobylakiewicz (Woodbridge, N.J./Woodbridge) and seniors Julian Salinas (Teaneck, N.J./Teaneck) and Dylan Santos (Nutley, N.J./Nutley) were named to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Baseball Team June 2.

The 2026 Academic All-District® Baseball Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. To be nominated, a student-athlete must be in the lineup for 70 percent of an institution's days of competition with at least a 3.50 cumulative grade point average (on a 4.0 scale) at their current institution. No student-athlete is eligible until they have completed one full calendar year at their current institution and is at least a sophomore academically and athletically.

Kobylakiewicz, a sport management major, was the only Pioneer to play and start in all 41 outings. The all-conference honoree owned a .350 average and .440 on-base percentage with 56 hits, four home and 22 runs scored while leading the team with 13 doubles, four home runs, 45 RBI and a .506 slugging percentage. The Woodbridge, N.J., native finished tied for fifth in the NJAC in doubles and sixth in RBI.  

Salinas made eight starts on the mound, compiling 27 strikeouts in 51.2 innings of work. The management major threw a career-best three complete games.

Santos started 35 of 36 games played, compiling 32 hits, eight doubles, a home run, 25 runs scored and 21 RBI while majoring in sports medicine.
