WAYNE, N.J. – Christina Sakelakos '19 was named the new assistant athletic trainer at William Paterson in August of 2025.

Sakelakos arrives at WP after spending the previous five years as the head athletic trainer at Sussex County Community College. While at SCCC, she additionally served as an assistant program supervisor and an adjunct professor of exercise science.
She also worked with the Sussex County Miners.

Before her time with the Skylanders, Sakelakos was a graduate assistant athletic trainer at East Stroudsburg University, where she earned her master's in advanced clinical practice in athletic training in 2020.

She received her bachelor's in athletic training from William Paterson in 2019.

Sakelakos is a certified athletic trainer licensed in New Jersey.
