Women's Tennis Falls to Yeshiva in Spring Season Opener

WAYNE, N.J. - The William Paterson women's tennis team (0-2, 0-1 NJAC) fell 8-1 to Yeshiva (6-4, 3-3 Skyline) in the 2023 spring season opener March 22 at Dr. Ginny Overdorf Tennis Courts.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
  • Freshman Victoria Nowobilska (Garfield, N.J./Garfield) grabbed the win in first singles (6-2, 6-2) for the Pioneers.
  • Nowobilska and junior Jordan Sweet (Camden, N.J./Brimm Medical Arts) took three sets in first doubles, but ultimately fell 8-3.
 
UP NEXT:
  • The Pioneers will host Saint Elizabeth on Wednesday, March 29, for a 4:00 p.m. match.
