Volleyball Drops Road Tilt at Stockton in Four Sets

GALLOWAY, N.J. – The William Paterson volleyball team (19-5, 4-3 NJAC) dropped a road NJAC match to Stockton (17-8, 7-0 NJAC) in four sets on Tuesday, Oct. 24.
 
HOW IT HAPPENED:
  • The Ospreys reeled off victories in the first and second set of 25-15 and 25-18.
  • WP led the entire way to a 25-22 third-set victory. Freshman Natalie Zabloudil (London, Ohio/London) was the driving force, posting seven kills.
  • Down by four (17-12), a successful attack by freshman Cecilia Miller (Virginia Beach, Va./First Colonial) sparked a 7-2 run to tie the set at 19. The two teams swapped points until Stockton grabbed a two-point advantage for a 30-28 set and match win.
INSIDE THE NUMBERS:
  • Freshman Abby Houpt (Garnet Valley, Pa./Garnet Valley) posted her fourth double-double performance this season with a game-high 31 assists and season-high 18 digs. She also added a game-high three aces.
  • Miller earned her 10th double-double match with 10 kills and 15 digs.
  • Zabloudil secured a team-high 14 kills with seven digs.
  • Junior Paola Molina (Hatillo, Puerto Rico/Colegio San Felipe) posted 29 digs for a game and season high.
  • Freshman Kristian Glenn (Weston, Fla./Cypress Bay) added five total blocks.

  • William Paterson travels to Chester, Pa. on Thursday, Oct. 26 for a non-conference matchup against Widener University at 7:00 p.m.
