WAYNE, N.J.- The William Paterson men's basketball team (11-10, 8-8 NJAC) rolled to a 58-38 home win against Rutgers-Camden (1-18, 1-13 NJAC) Feb. 9.

HOW IT HAPPENED:

• WP started the game on a 9-0 run.
• A driving layup from junior forward Yvens Monfleury (Newark, N.J./American History) gave the Pioneers a 20-6 lead at the 9:00 mark of the first half.
• A three-pointer from the Scarlet Raptors cut their deficit to four (22-18) with 5:46 left in the half.
• Graduate student guard Brian Monaghan (Florham Park, N.J./Morristown-Beard) extended WP's second-half lead to 16 (50-34) with 6:48 left to play.

INSIDE THE NUMBERS:

• Graduate student guard Domenic Mignone (Rutherford, N.J./Rutherford) led the Pioneers with 13 points, four rebounds and four assists.​​​​​​
• Monfleury finished with 10 points and four rebounds.
• Monaghan added 12 points.
