Volleyball Defeats Pratt on the Road, 3-1

WAYNE, N.J. – The William Paterson volleyball team (8-11) beat Pratt (8-7) on the road, 3-1, in non-conference play on Oct. 6.
 
HOW IT HAPPENED:
  • The Cannoneers gave up the first set to WP, 25-17. Pratt would redeem themselves in the second set, winning 25-20. The Pioneers would secure the next two sets, 25-17 and 25-16.

INSIDE THE NUMBERS:
  • Junior Eliana Lamb (Washingtonville, N.Y./Washingtonville) recorded a team-high 13 kills and three block assists. Senior Kathleen Burrough (North Burlington, N.J./North Burlington) added 10 kills.
  • Freshman Alexa Jarvis (Lake Mary, Fla./Lake Mary) posted 30 assists and three aces against the Cannoneers. Freshman Abigail Hayth (Milford, N.J./Delaware Valley Regional) tallied three aces as well.
  • Freshman Erica Bickart (Tucson, Ariz./Marana) put up a career-high six blocks, two solos and four block assists.
  • Junior Paola Molina (Hatillo, Puerto Rico/Colegio San Felipe) had 25 digs on the night.
UP NEXT:
  • William Paterson continues NJAC play against Rutgers-Newark on Oct. 11 at 7:00 p.m. at the Sports and Recreation Center.
