WAYNE, N.J.- The William Paterson men's basketball team (8-7, 5-5 NJAC) fell at home against Ramapo (4-10, 2-6 NJAC) on Jan 19.

HOW IT HAPPENED:

• WP jumped out to a 19-9 lead at the 12:25 mark of the first half.
• Ramapo bounced back, taking over the lead and holding a 37-30 advantage at the end of the first half.
• A 13-4 run by the Roadrunners to start the second gave them a 50-34 lead at the 16:09 mark.
• A pair of made free throws by graduate student guard Domenic Mignone (Rutherford, N.J./Rutherford) cut the deficit to six, as the Pioneer's only trailed 67-61 with 3:53 left to play.
• Ramapo held off the comeback long enough to secure the win.

INSIDE THE NUMBERS:

• Mignone led WP with 14 points.
• Junior forward Michael Gilmore (Teaneck, N.J./Pine Forge Academy) finished with 11 points and seven rebounds.
• Graduate student guard Brian Monaghan (Florham Park, N.J./Morristown-Beard) added 12 points.
