WAYNE, NJ- The William Paterson volleyball team (4-4, 0-1 NJAC swept visiting Mount Saint Mary  (3-5)  Sept. 16.

HOW IT HAPPENED: 

• The Pioneers secured victories of 25-23, 25-17 and 25-10 against the Knights.

INSIDE THE NUMBERS:

• Junior middle hitter Leila Ksiyer (Bogota, N.J./Bogota ) registered a career high 19 kills while also adding two blocks.
• Senior setter Kristin Volavka (Milford, Pa./Delaware Valley) contributed 32 assists for WP
• Senior outside hitter Dakota Apicella (Kendall Park, N.J./South Brunswick) and Junior middle hitter Kathleen Burrough (North Burlington, N.J./North Burlington) each added double-digit digs with 16 and 12 respectively.
