WP Athletics 2021 Senior Salutes

WP Athletics would like to honor the efforts, dedication and accomplishments of our 44 senior student-athletes and senior student athletic trainers who make up the Class of 2021. Each one is a tremendous example of what it means to be a Pioneer.

May grad Vanessa wants to work with kids and improve their social skills and mental health. She will miss playing with #WPUSB and the friendships she made, and says WP taught her how to work hard, manage her time and communicate well with others #WPSeniorSalute

Bradley graduates in May and plans to work in public health. His favorite memories are from his time with #WPUMSWIM, especially the training trips, and appreciates Coach Gurka's mentorship. WP helped prepare him for the future via its coursework and study skills #WPSeniorSalute

Steven plans to get a master's in applied business analytics and work as a quantitative analyst or data engineer for a corporation or pro sports team. He says WP taught him attack challenges head on and to stay positive while enjoying the process #WPUBASE #WPSeniorSalute

Kamal says every struggle he's had created progress that led to growth and strength. He will work as a youth development coach for NYRB after graduating in August, and someday wants to earn a master's in analytics performance and work in the MLS/World Cup #WPUMS #WPSeniorSalute
