WAYNE, N.J. – The William Paterson volleyball team (0-2, 0-2 NJAC) dropped its New Jersey Athletic Conference home contest to Kean (1-0, 1-0 NJAC), 3-0, March 4.

HOW IT HAPPENED:

• After taking the opener 25-12, Kean hit .480 (14-2-25) in the second en route to a 25-9 victory. The Cougars closed out the match with a 25-12 decision in the third.

INSIDE THE NUMBERS:

• Middle hitter Jamie O'Shea (Rockaway, N.J./Morris Hills) led the Pioneers with four kills and added eight digs, while outside hitter Kathleen Burrough (North Burlington, N.J./North Burlington) tallied three kills and eight defensive scoops.
• Kyla Sebello (Jersey City, N.J./Dickinson) totaled 10 assists, and libero Taylor Crowley (Sewell, N.J./Washington Twp.) notched seven digs.

• William Paterson returns to the Sports and Recreation Center Tuesday, March 9 against Stockton at 6:00 p.m.
