WAYNE, N.J.- The William Paterson volleyball team (9-7) took care of the visiting Baruch Bearcats (4-12), 3-0, Oct. 7.

HOW IT HAPPENED:

• The Pioneers secured set wins of 25-16, 25-19 and 26-24.

INSIDE THE NUMBERS:

• Senior outside hitter Dakota Apicella (Kendall Park, N.J./South Brunswick) and junior middle hitter Leila Ksiyer (Bogota, N.J./Bogota ) each tallied 16 kills.
• Senior setter Kristin Volavka (Milford, Pa./Delaware Valley) collected 31 assists, making this her 11th match of the season with 30-plus assists.
