Volleyball Falls On the Road at Rutgers-Camden, 3-1

CAMDEN, N.J.- The William Paterson volleyball team (9-8, 2-4 NJAC) fell, 3-1, on the road at Rutgers-Camden (14-6, 3-2 NJAC) in a New Jersey Athletic conference matchup, Oct. 12.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
  • The Pioneers won the first set of the match, 25-17.
  • Rutgers-Camden secured wins during the next three sets, 25-12, 25-17 and 25-12.
INSIDE THE NUMBERS:
 
  • Junior middle hitter Leila Ksiyer (Bogota, N.J./Bogota ) led the Pioneers in kills with 15.
  • Junior middle hitter Kathleen Burrough (North Burlington, N.J./North Burlington) tallied 14 kills and 17 digs.
  • Senior setter Kristin Volavka (Milford, Pa./Delaware Valley) tallied 35 assists, her sixth straight match with 30-plus assists.
