GALLOWAY, N.J.- The William Paterson volleyball team (8-7, 2-3 NJAC ) fell 3-1 on the road at Stockton (8-11, 4-1 NJAC) in a key New Jersey Athletic conference matchup. Oct. 5.

HOW IT HAPPENED:

• Stockton secured set wins of 25-11, 25-14 and 25-21.
• The Pioneers won the second set in the match, 25-23. 

INSIDE THE NUMBERS:

• Junior middle hitter Leila Ksiyer (Bogota, N.J./Bogota ) led the Pioneers with 17 kills.
• Senior setter Kristin Volavka (Milford, Pa./Delaware Valley) dished out 34 assists.
• Senior outside hitter Dakota Apicella (Kendall Park, N.J./South Brunswick) registered five service aces.
