WAYNE, N.J.- The William Paterson volleyball team (13-10, 3-5 NJAC) took down Hunter College (10-11) 3-1, in their final home match of the season, Oct. 25.

HOW IT HAPPENED:

• Hunter won the first set of the match, 25-20.
• The Pioneers went on to win three straight sets 25-22, 25-22 and 25-14.

INSIDE THE NUMBERS:

• Senior outside hitter Dakota Apicella (Kendall Park, N.J./South Brunswick) led the Pioneers with 21 kills and 23 digs.
• Senior setter Kristin Volavka (Milford, Pa./Delaware Valley) recorded 48 assists, her third time this season with over 40 assists in a match.
