WAYNE, N.J.- The William Paterson volleyball team (11-9, 3-5 NJAC) defeated visiting FDU-Florham (12-10) 3-1, while celebrating senior day, Oct. 21.

HOW IT HAPPENED:

• The Pioneers secured a win of set one 27-25, but FDU took set two 25-17.
• WP won a high scoring third set 36-34, the highest scoring set for the Pioneers all season. 
• The Pioneers took set four 25-14. 

INSIDE THE NUMBERS:

• Senior outside hitter Dakota Apicella (Kendall Park, N.J./South Brunswick) led the Pioneers with 23 kills.
• Senior outside hitter Kyla Sebello (Jersey City, N.J./Dickinson) recorded 29 digs, her season-high.
• Senior setter Kristin Volavka (Milford, Pa./Delaware Valley) finished with 49 assists, the second most assists she has had in a match this season.
