CAMDEN, N.J. – Junior guard Domenic Mignone's (Rutherford, N.J./Rutherford) game-high 21 points led four Pioneers in double figures as William Paterson men's basketball (9-9, 5-6 NJAC) posted a 79-52 win at Rutgers-Camden (6-11, 3-8 NJAC) Jan. 25.

HOW IT HAPPENED:

• The Pioneers connected on 50.0 (17-34) percent of their attempts in the first half while limiting the Scarlet Raptors to just 7-for-29 (.241) shooting in the stanza to take a 38-25 lead at the break.
• WP continued its offensive dominance in the second frame, outscoring Rutgers-Camden 41-27 and leading by as many as 28 points (72-44, 5:14) en route to the 79-52 decision.

 
INSIDE THE NUMBERS:

• Mignone's 21 points came on a 10-for-13 (.769) shooting afternoon.
• Senior guard Anthony Uribe (Hackensack, N.J./Bergen Catholic) posted a stat line of 12 points, seven rebounds and four assists, while classmate Sean Smith (Moraga, Calif./Campolindo) contributed 10 tallies and seven boards.
• Junior Malcolm McLeod (Teaneck, N.J./Eastern Christian) pulled a team-high nine rebounds to go along with 11 points.
• William Paterson outrebounded Rutgers-Camden 52-19, including a 14-3 margin on the offensive glass.
