SELINSGROVE, Pa. – William Paterson women's basketball (1-3) dropped its non-conference road test at Susquehanna (1-1), 67-37, Nov. 20.
 
HOW IT HAPPENED:

• It was all Susquehanna in the opening half as WP shot just 6-for-30 (.200) from the field and trailed 34-14 after 20 minutes.
• The Pioneers began the third quarter on a 7-0 run, but the River Hawks would respond with their own 8-0 burst and never look back, ultimately settling on the 67-37 decision.

 
INSIDE THE NUMBERS:

• Senior Alisa Giordano (Wood-Ridge, N.J./Wood-Ridge) and freshman Yakira Rosa (Dumont, N.J./Dumont) each tallied 10 points, while junior Vianca Soriano (New Milford, N.J./New Milford) added six tallies and seven rebounds.
• Susquehanna connected on 12 three-pointers as compared to just three for William Paterson.

• WP will play its home opener Tuesday, Nov. 26, against New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) foe Montclair State at 6:00 p.m.
