GALLOWAY, N.J. – The William Paterson volleyball team (9-10, 1-6) dropped a 3-0 road test to New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) leaders Stockton (25-2, 7-0) Oct. 22.
 
HOW IT HAPPENED:

• After taking the opener 25-13, Stockton hit .625 (15 kills, zero errors, 24 attempts) in the second en route to a 25-9 triumph. The Ospreys closed out the match with a 25-19 decision in the third.

 
INSIDE THE NUMBERS:

• Outside hitters Alyson Toman (Secaucus, N.J./Secaucus) and Kathleen Burrough (North Burlington, N.J./North Burlington) each tallied six kills.
• Burrough and junior Dakota Apicella (Kendall Park, N.J./South Brunswick) both notched five digs, while sophomore setter Kristin Volavka (Milford, Pa./Delaware Valley) finished the match with 12 assists and four digs.
