Tennis Suffers 9-0 Loss to Rutgers-Camden

CAMDEN, N.J. – The William Paterson women's tennis team (0-3) wrapped up their weekend conference schedule on the road, falling to Rutgers-Camden (1-1) 9-0.
 
Junior Jessica Papin-Yukhtanova (Newton, N.J./Newton) won her first game of the season in the third singles match, but ultimately fell to Danielle Lemma 6-0, 6-1. In the doubles competition, sophomore Kaworu Ishikawa (Egg Harbor Twp., N.J./Egg Harbor Twp.) and Papin-Yukhtanova fought hard against Annalise Kipp and Danielle Lemma but dropped the number one doubles match 8-3.
 
The Pioneers return to action on Tuesday when they travel to Farmingdale State College for a non-conference matchup beginning at 5:00 p.m.
