WAYNE, N.J. – Fifteen members of the William Paterson field hockey program were named to the 2016 Zag Field Hockey/National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) Division III National Academic Squad.
Seniors
Maureen Gill (Branchville, N.J./High Point Regional) and
Jessie Super (Oaklyn, N.J./Collingswood) garnered their fourth awards. Senior
Courtney Allen (Woodbine, N.J./Ocean City) and juniors
Nicole Andes (Hackettstown, N.J./Hackettstown) and
Katie Stetser (Cherry Hill, N.J./Cherry Hill West) were honored for the third time, while senior
Meghin Stanton (Chesterfield, N.J./Northern Burlington Regional) and sophomore
Lilly Raftopoulos (Freehold, N.J./Freehold Boro) were recognized for the second time. Junior
Andrea Mauro (Tinton Falls, N.J./
Monmouth Regional), sophomore
Erin Sassaman (Belvidere, N.J./Belvidere) and freshmen
Kerianne Brown (Stroudsburg, Pa./Stroudsburg),
Nicole Goitiandia (South Plainfield, N.J./South Plainfield),
Gillian Grahame (West Milford, N.J./West Milford),
Alexis Land (Monroe, N.J./Monroe Twp.),
Carly Miceli (South Plainfield, N.J./South Plainfield) and
Shannon Super (Oaklyn, N.J./Collingswood) received their first awards.
The National Academic Squad recognizes those student-athletes who have achieved a cumulative GPA of 3.30 or higher through the first semester of the 2016-17 academic year.
