MANAHAWKIN, N.J. – Eight Pioneers were named to the 2025 National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) Division III National Academic Squad Feb. 11.
Seniors
Carly Horn (Pompton Lakes, N.J./Pompton Lakes) and
Allison Ochs (Carteret, N.J./Middlesex County Vocational and Technical School), and sophomores
Julia Dennehy (Norwalk, Conn./Norwalk),
Lauren Rennie (Forked River, N.J./Lacey Township) and
Sofia Russell (Spring Lake Heights, N.J./Manasquan) each collected their second NFHCA academic honor, while sophomores
Sofia Chebookjian (Ocean Township, N.J./Ocean Township) and
Courtney DiPrenda (Pompton Lakes, N.J./Pompton Lakes), along with freshman
Giuliana Pasquarella (Bensalem, Pa./Bensalem), earned their first.
The Division III National Academic Squad program honors undergraduate collegiate student-athletes and scholastic junior and senior student-athletes who have achieved a cumulative grade-point average of 3.5 or higher through the first semester of the current academic year.
