Field Hockey Closes Season With 2-1 Defeat to Ramapo

MAHWAH, N.J. – The William Paterson field hockey team (3-14, 0-6 NJAC) concluded its season with a 2-1 conference loss at Ramapo (5-11, 1-5 NJAC) on Nov. 1.
HOW IT HAPPENED
  • Sophomore Ali Stoner (Branchville, N.J./High Point) put the Pioneers on the board in the 17th minute, capitalizing on a well-executed setup from freshman Giuliana Pasquarella (Bensalem, Pa./Bensalem) and junior Kelly Cammarata (Fairfield, N.J./West Essex) for a 1-0 lead.
  • Ramapo answered with goals in the 39th and 48th minutes to claim a 2-1 victory.
INSIDE THE NUMBERS:
  • Pasquarella tallied her second assist of the season, while Cammarata registered her third.
  • Stoner added her 13th goal of the year.
  • Sophomore goalkeeper Grace Jenkins (Bloomsbury, N.J./Delaware Valley Regional) recorded four saves.
