Volleyball Suffers 3-0 Loss at Ramapo

Pioneers Drop Straight-Set Decision

MAHWAH, N.J. – William Paterson (7-3, 0-2 NJAC) dropped a 25-19, 25-14, 25-13 volleyball decision at Ramapo (11-3, 1-0 NJAC) Sept. 20.
 
Senior outside hitter Erin Roach (Clark, N.J./Union County Vo-Tech) led the Pioneers with 15 kills, while sophomore setter Kendall Caruso (Secaucus, N.J./Secaucus) had a double-double with 22 assists and 10 digs. Sophomore outside hitter Christine Griffith (Upper Saddle River, N.J./Northern Highlands Regional) collected 16 digs, sophomore outside hitter Amanda Lembo (North Haledon, N.J./DePaul Catholic) finished with 13 digs and freshman outside/middle hitter Alyson Toman (Secaucus, N.J./Secaucus) put down seven kills. Freshman libero Kristina Ulrich (Secaucus, N.J./Secaucus) chipped in 10 digs.
 
Junior outside hitter Larysa Iwaskiw paced all players with 25 kills, freshman setter Kate Shirkey tallied 21 assists and seven digs, and sophomore libero Kristen Behrens finished with 17 digs for the Roadrunners.
 
William Paterson will host Rutgers-Camden Thursday, Sept. 22, at 7:00 p.m.
