Women’s Basketball to Play at MSU in NJAC Tournament Semifinals Tuesday at 7:00 p.m.

WP Game Notes 

PITMAN, N.J. – Fifth-seeded William Paterson (15-11, 10-8 NJAC) will play at top-seeded Montclair State (19-6, 15-3 NJAC) in the semifinals of the New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) Women's Basketball Tournament Tuesday, Feb. 23, at 7:00 p.m. Live statistics, live video and live audio will be available.
 
Ticket prices are $5.00 for adults and $2.00 for children, students and senior citizens. WP students with ID will be admitted for free.
 
In the other semifinal game Feb. 23, third-seeded Stockton (21-5, 14-4 NJAC) will play at second-seeded Rowan (21-4, 15-3 NJAC) at 7:00 p.m. The highest remaining seed will host the championship game Friday, Feb. 26, at 7:00 p.m.
 
The Pioneers are coming off a 91-83 overtime first-round victory at fourth-seeded Kean (15-11, 10-8 NJAC) Feb. 20. Earlier this season, WP suffered a 76-54 loss at No. 11/13 MSU Dec. 9, and a 64-59 defeat against the Red Hawks Feb. 3 in Wayne.
 
The Dec. 28 NJAC Player of the Week, senior 5-10 forward Alex Milne (Howell, N.J./Howell) is contributing a team-high 12.2 points and 9.2 rebounds (fourth in league) per game. A second-team all-conference pick a year ago, senior 5-4 guard Brittany Harden (Millville, N.J./Sacred Heart) is averaging 11.4 tallies, 3.6 assists (seventh in NJAC) and 2.4 steals (seventh in conference) per contest. Sophomore 5-3 guard Jackie Rodriguez (Sayreville, N.J./Sayreville War Memorial) is posting 10.4 points per game.
  
William Paterson has won three NJAC Tournament titles, including two of the last five (1993, 2011, 2012), and is making its 24th tourney appearance (1990, 1991, 1992, 1993, 1994, 1995, 1996, 1997, 1998, 1999, 2000, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016).
 
WP was 14-12 overall and 10-8 in conference play a year ago, reaching the first round of the NJAC Tournament.
