MONTCLAIR, N.J. – The William Paterson volleyball team (12-9, 1-5 NJAC) dropped a 25-21, 25-20, 25-22 decision at Montclair State (18-3, 5-2 NJAC) Oct. 13.
Sophomore outside hitter
Amanda Lembo (North Haledon, N.J./DePaul Catholic) finished with eight kills and seven digs, while junior libero
Julianna Ginefra (Springfield, N.J./Jonathan Dayton) tallied a team-best 12 digs. Sophomore setter
Kendall Caruso (Secaucus, N.J./Secaucus) posted 19 assists and eight digs, and freshman outside/middle hitter
Alyson Toman (Secaucus, N.J./Secaucus) had seven kills and seven digs.
Freshman outside hitter/middle blocker Schyler White collected 10 kills and 10 digs for the Red Hawks, and sophomore setter Ashley Griffith added 31 assists. Junior libero Danielle Olcese chipped in 25 digs.
William Paterson will play in a tri-match at Staten Island Saturday, Oct. 15, facing Sarah Lawrence at 1:00 p.m. and the host Dolphins at 3:00 p.m.
