WAYNE, N.J. – William Paterson (12-8) lost a tightly-contested volleyball match to visiting Farmingdale State (10-6), 25-22, 25-21 and 25-22, Oct. 11.

Christine Griffith (Upper Saddle River, N.J./Northern Highlands Regional) collected a match-best 17 digs, while sophomore setter
Kendall Caruso (Secaucus, N.J./Secaucus) finished with 24 assists. Sophomore outside hitter
Amanda Lembo (North Haledon, N.J./DePaul Catholic) had seven kills and eight digs, and sophomore middle hitter
Chelliah Phillips (Bergenfield, N.J./Bergenfield) and freshman outside/middle hitter
Alyson Toman (Secaucus, N.J./Secaucus) each put down seven kills.
Freshman setter Julia Hande had 14 kills, 13 assists and nine digs for the Rams. Sophomore setter Lauren Anne Strenzenec posted 27 assists, while junior defensive specialist Stephanie Etersque tallied 15 digs.
William Paterson will visit Montclair State Thursday, Oct. 13, at 7:00 p.m.
