HACKETTSTOWN, N.J. – Senior opposite hitter
Nicole Spicer (Whiting, N.J./Manchester Twp.) posted six kills, six assists and a team-best 11 digs as the William Paterson volleyball team (4-0) earned a 25-11, 25-15, 25-13 victory at Centenary (0-5) Sept. 8.
The reigning New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) Player of the Week, junior outside hitter
Erin Roach (Clark, N.J./Union County Vo-Tech) added five digs to her match-high 12 kills, while freshman setter
Kendall Caruso (Secaucus, N.J./Secaucus) collected 17 assists and nine digs. Senior middle hitter
Issel Garcia (Ridgefield Park, N.J./Ridgefield Park) chipped in six kills, six digs and three service aces.
Senior Vanessa McKellar paced the Cyclones with nine kills, freshman Zoey Woody dished 13 assists and junior Na'imah Spells finished with 11 digs.
William Paterson will start NJAC play Thursday, Sept. 10, at Rutgers-Camden at 7:00 p.m.
