UNION, N.J. – Senior opposite hitter
Nicole Spicer (Whiting, N.J./Manchester Twp.) posted a double-double but the William Paterson volleyball team (7-6, 1-3 NJAC) suffered a 25-18, 25-12, 25-23 loss at Kean (9-10, 2-1 NJAC) Sept. 29.
Spicer paced the Pioneers with 12 kills and 12 digs, and junior outside hitter
Erin Roach (Clark, N.J./Union County Vo-Tech) contributed 10 kills and six digs. Freshman setter
Kendall Caruso (Secaucus, N.J./Secaucus) chipped in 20 assists and seven digs.
Sophomore middle hitter Joelle Tondi led the Cougars with 14 kills, sophomore setter Kendall Sonico finished with 42 assists and senior defensive specialist Lisa DeGroot collected 18 digs.
William Paterson will host Purchase Thursday, Oct. 1, at 7:00 p.m.
