Men's Swimming and Diving Falls to Adelphi, 62-33

Sophomore Anthony Taboadela was a triple winner for the Pioneers against Adelphi.
GARDEN CITY, N.Y.- The William Paterson men's swimming and diving team (6-3) fell to Division II Adelphi (1-2), 62-33, Dec. 12.

The Pioneers were led by triple winner sophomore Anthony Taboadela (Rockaway, N.J./Morris Hills), who finished first in the 200 IM (2:01.45), 100 back (55.71) and 100 breast (1:03.23).

The 200 free relay team of seniors Eric Tracey (Newton, N.J./Kittatinny Regional), Nicolai Robinson (Matawan, N.J./Old Bridge), junior Nick Cowie (Newton, N.J./Newton) and freshman Drew Macchia (Chatham, N.J./Chatham) came in second with an excellent time of 1:32.91.

The Pioneers travel to train in San Juan, Puerto Rico, before they host Queens Tuesday, Jan. 12, at 6:00 p.m.
