WAYNE, N.J.  – The William Paterson men's swimming and diving team (1-2) came up short against Brooklyn College (4-0), 156-78, Nov. 3.  
 
TOP PERFORMERS:

• Senior Zak Li (Wayne, N.J./Wayne Valley) collected first-place wins in the 50 free (23.05) and 100 free (50.11).
• Senior Justin Melli (Erma, N.J./Lower Cape May Regional) placed first in the 1000 free (11:16.31).

 
INSIDE THE NUMBERS:

• Sophomore Andre Miguel Ovejas (North Brunswick, N.J./North Brunswick) clinched career-best times in the 200 IM (2:25.37) and the 500 free (5:53.24).

UP NEXT:

• William Paterson hosts Moravian, Nov. 6 for a 6:00 p.m meet.
