NEW YORK, N.Y. – The William Paterson volleyball team (9-9) lost a tightly-contested 3-0 match (15-25, 25-27, 22-25) at Baruch (9-15) Oct. 8.
Junior outside hitter
Erin Roach (Clark, N.J./Union County Vo-Tech) posted 11 kills and 16 digs, while senior middle hitter
Issel Garcia (Ridgefield Park, N.J./Ridgefield Park) had a career-high 11 kills. Freshman setter
Kendall Caruso (Secaucus, N.J./Secaucus) dished out 29 assists, sophomore libero
Julianna Ginefra (Springfield, N.J./Jonathan Dayton) collected 16 digs and senior opposite hitter
Nicole Spicer (Whiting, N.J./Manchester Twp.) finished with 14 digs.
Senior outside hitter McKenzie Davidson paced the Bearcats with 13 kills, senior setter Crystle DeLa Cruz had 40 assists and senior libero Amy Sung posted 24 digs.
William Paterson will play host CCNY at 11:00 a.m. and King's (Pa.) Saturday, Oct. 10.
