Erin Roach (Clark, N.J./Union County Vo-Tech) notched a double-double to help lead the William Paterson volleyball team (12-12) to a 25-13, 20-25, 25-12, 25-19 victory against visiting Farmingdale State (12-10) Oct. 22.
Roach led all players with 15 kills and 15 digs, while senior opposite hitter
Nicole Spicer (Whiting, N.J./Manchester Twp.) put down 10 kills while serving five aces. Freshman setter
Kendall Caruso (Secaucus, N.J./Secaucus) posted 30 assists and seven digs, and senior libero
Michelle Merida (Parsippany, N.J./Parsippany) finished with 10 digs.
Junior middle blocker Barbara Wright led the Rams with 10 kills and sophomore setter Gina Giacalone had 10 assists.
William Paterson will play at Delaware Valley at 11:00 a.m. and will face Rosemont at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 24.
