Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 MORRISTOWN, N.J. – The William Paterson volleyball team (7-0) picked up a pair of victories Sept. 13, defeating host Saint Elizabeth (5-3), 3-1, and Sarah Lawrence (1-3), 3-0.
 
The Pioneers started the day with a 25-10, 19-25, 25-16, 25-15 win against the Eagles. Senior middle hitter Shauna VanDeRee (Waldwick, N.J./Waldwick) led all players with 11 kills and 28 digs, senior setter Danielle Koukos (Midland Park, N.J./Midland Park) collected 26 assists and 14 digs, and senior outside hitter Daniella Salemo (Ramsey, N.J./Ramsey) posted 20 digs, six service aces and nine kills. Sophomore outside hitter Erin Roach (Clark, N.J./Union County Vo-Tech) tallied 19 digs and seven kills, freshman libero Julianna Ginefra (Springfield, N.J./Jonathan Dayton) had 16 digs and junior outside hitter/opposite hitter Nicole Spicer (Whiting, N.J./Manchester Twp.) finished with 15 digs and nine kills.
 
Katie Cooper led the Eagles with nine kills, Amy Cooper tallied 22 assists and Nicole Morera had 24 digs.
 
WP defeated Sarah Lawrence 25-7, 25-7 and 25-8. Spicer paced the Pioneers with eight kills, sophomore setter Erinn Carson (Wood-Ridge, N.J./Wood-Ridge) dished 12 assists and Roach contributed 11 digs.
 
Yolanda Lyne Cando led Sarah Lawrence with four kills, Clarisse Taboy had four assists and six digs, and Lin Zhu collected 11 digs.
 
William Paterson will start New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) play Tuesday, Sept. 16, at New Jersey City at 7:00 p.m.
