WAYNE, N.J. -- Third-seeded William Paterson (16-9, 13-5 NJAC) will host sixth-seeded Ramapo (12-13, 9-9 NJAC) in the first round of the New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) Women's Basketball Tournament Saturday, Feb. 22, at 1:00 p.m.

General Admission is $5.00. Students, children 12 and under, and senior citizens will be admitted for $2.00. The first 150 William Paterson students with ID will be admitted to games at the Rec Center for free, courtesy of the Student Government Association, Residence Life and Division of Student Development.
The winner will advance to the NJAC Tournament semifinals at second-seeded The College of New Jersey (18-7, 14-4 NJAC) Tuesday, Feb. 25, at 7:00 p.m. In the other first-round game, fourth-seeded Kean (14-11, 11-7 NJAC) will host fifth-seeded Richard Stockton (12-13, 9-9 NJAC) Feb. 22 at 7:30 p.m. The winner will advance to play at top-seeded Montclair State (23-2, 17-1 NJAC) Feb. 25 at 7:00 p.m. The highest remaining seed will host the championship game Friday, Feb. 28.
The Pioneers are 16-9 overall and 13-5 in the NJAC following an 82-66 victory at Ramapo Feb. 19. WP swept the season series against the Roadrunners, earning an 81-73 home win Jan. 15.
An honorable-mention all-American a year ago, senior 5-9 guard
Floriana Borova (Cresskill, N.J./Cresskill) leads the Pioneers with 20.2 points (first in conference), 4.8 assists (second in league) and 3.3 steals (first in NJAC) per game, adding 5.9 rebounds per contest. She became WP's career assists leader (421) Feb. 8. Senior 5-11 forward
Dana Jeter (Hamilton, N.J./Steinert) is posting 11.4 tallies, 2.7 assists and a team-leading 8.6 boards (eighth in league) and 1.9 blocks (second in NJAC) per game. Sophomore 5-4 guard
Brittany Harden (Millville, N.J./Sacred Heart) is averaging 10.0 points, 5.8 rebounds and 3.0 steals (third in NJAC) per contest, while senior 5-7 guard
Kristine Jackiewicz (Quakertown, Pa./Quakertown) is adding 9.5 tallies and 5.3 boards per game.
William Paterson has won three NJAC Tournament titles, including two of the last three (1993, 2011, 2012).
