WAYNE, N.J. – Three Pioneers reached double figures in scoring as the William Paterson women's basketball team (15-9, 12-5 NJAC) scored a 75-50 victory against visiting Rutgers-Camden (4-18, 0-17 NJAC) Feb. 15.
The Scarlet Raptors made their first three attempts from the field, but the Pioneers put together a 15-3 run to take a 19-9 lead by the 14:46 mark, and quickly made it a 23-point margin by the intermission (44-21). Senior forward
Dana Jeter (Hamilton, N.J./Steinert) led all players with 13 points and seven rebounds as WP shot 40.5 (17-42) percent from the floor and limited Rutgers-Camden to an 8-for-28 (.286) effort.
It was a 30-point game by the midway point of the second period as William Paterson used its bench liberally during the final 20 minutes. The Pioneers' five starters averaged 21 minutes each during the contest and 11 different players got into the scoring column for WP.

Floriana Borova (Cresskill, N.J./Cresskill) finished with 16 points and six assists, while Jeter had her second straight double-double with 15 tallies and 11 rebounds. Senior guard
Kristine Jackiewicz (Quakertown, Pa./Quakertown) collected 12 points and three steals, junior center
Ashley Marfo (Bergenfield, N.J./Bergenfield) pulled down 10 rebounds and freshman forward
Ariana Gomez (Garfield, N.J./Garfield) notched eight tallies.
Senior center Tina Croxton scored 11 of her game-high 17 points from the free-throw line for the Scarlet Raptors. She added nine rebounds, and sophomore forward Michelle Onu had 11 tallies and eight boards.
William Paterson will finish the regular season Wednesday, Feb. 19, at Ramapo at 5:30 p.m.
