Video Highlights WAYNE, N.J. – Three double winners helped lead the William Paterson men's swimming and diving team (3-0) to a 128-95 win against visiting Maritime (0-1) Oct. 30 at Wightman Pool.
Freshman
Kyle Risley (Mays Landing, N.J./Mays Landing) claimed two victories in the 50 free (21.98) and the 100 fly (54.07). Classmate
Anthony Taboadela (Rockaway, N.J./Morris Hills) was a double winner, swimming impressive times in the 200 IM (2:03.31) and the 100 back (54.90).
Junior
Gennaro Sirianni (North Bergen, N.J./North Bergen) took first in the one-meter (178.80) and three-meter (194.50) dives.
Juniors
Eric Tracey (Newton, N.J./Kittatinny Regional) placed first in the 100 free (52.89), and
Donado Dervishi (Garfield, N.J./Garfield) won the 100 breast (1:02.37).
The winning 200 medley relay team of Taboadela, Dervishi, Risley and Tracey came together to post a time of 1:39.63, only two seconds off the William Paterson record.
The Pioneers will next swim at conference opponent Rowan Wednesday, Nov. 5, at 6:00 p.m.
