GLASSBORO, N.J. – The William Paterson volleyball team (16-5, 2-4 NJAC) stumbled at Rowan (12-13, 5-2 NJAC), suffering a 25-15, 25-21, 25-13 loss Oct. 16.
Senior outside hitter
Daniella Salemo (Ramsey, N.J./Ramsey) posted nine digs and a team-best six kills, while senior setter
Alaina Clark (Paramus, N.J./Paramus) dished seven assists. Senior middle hitter
Shauna VanDeRee (Waldwick, N.J./Waldwick) had nine digs and two block assists, and sophomore outside hitter
Erin Roach (Clark, N.J./Union County Vo-Tech) contributed seven digs and two block assists.
Morgan Mende led all players with 12 kills for the Profs. Mary-Grace Testa collected 18 assists, and Jennifer Vorel finished with 14 digs.
William Paterson will compete in a tri-match Saturday, Oct. 18, facing Cabrini at 12:00 p.m. and host Wilkes at 2:00 p.m.
