WAYNE, N.J. -- William Paterson head football coach
Jerry Flora and assistant coach
Torrance "Tank" Daniels helped get Wayne's kids excited for this weekend's Super Bowl XLVIII when they spoke at a
Wayne Public Library event Jan. 30.
Flora and Daniels led a program for children in grades 5-12 that included an overview of Super Bowl history, the rules of the game, a pre-game analysis and interactive question-and-answer session.
One of the highlights for the kids was Daniels' Super Bowl XLII championship ring he earned as a member of the 2007-08 New York Giants. Super Bowl XLVIII will be held Feb. 2 in nearby East Rutherford, N.J., just miles from Wayne and the William Paterson campus.
