Volleyball Breezes by Centenary, 3-0

Pioneers Improve to 4-0 This Season

Junior Danielle Koukos had 15 assists and three aces during a 3-0 win at Centenary.
Box Score HACKETTSTOWN, N.J. – The William Paterson volleyball team (4-0) breezed past host Centenary (0-6), 25-7, 25-13 and 25-4, Sept. 10.

Junior outside hitter Daniella Salemo (Ramsey, N.J./Ramsey) led the Pioneers with five kills and six service aces, adding six digs. Freshman outside hitter Mary Long (Morristown, N.J./Morristown) contributed four kills while tying with junior middle hitter Shauna VanDeRee (Waldwick, N.J./Waldwick) for the team lead with seven digs apiece. Junior setter Danielle Koukos (Midland Park, N.J./Midland Park) chipped in 15 assists and three aces.

Vanessa McKellar had four kills for the Cyclones, Myriah Cockburn tallied 10 digs and Na'imah Spells dished five assists.

William Paterson will visit King's Thursday, Sept. 12, at 7:00 p.m.
