The Golden Bears jumped out to an early 3-0 advantage in the top of the second inning.  Senior outfielder Matt Anthonis led off with a walk, making his way around the base paths by way of a stolen base and a single by Kevin Marciano.  Senior Tom Booth drew a walk to load the bases, and a wild pitch allowed Anthonis to score.  Senior third baseman Mike Rubino then singled through the left side to plate two more runs for Western New England.
