GARDEN CITY, N.Y. – The William Paterson men's swimming & diving team (6-2) suffered a 52-43 defeat at Division II Adelphi (2-2) Dec. 11.

The 200 medley relay team of senior Nikolas Frey (Hackensack, N.J./Hackensack), sophomore Zachary Krakauskas (Egg Harbor City, N.J /Absegami), freshman Nick Cowie (Newton, N.J./Newton) and freshman Esaul Helena (North Bergen, N.J./North Bergen) posted a winning time of 1:49.09.

Junior Evan Marine (Forked River, N.J./Lacey Twp.) was a double winner, touching first in the 100 back (1:00.28) and the 100 breast (1:08.70).

The 200 free relay team of senior Troy Buglio (Toms River, N.J./Toms River East), junior Bobby Boyton (Sewell, N.J./Clearview Regional) and sophomores Eric Tracey (Newton, N.J./Kittatinny Regional) and Nicolai Robinson (Matawan, N.J./Old Bridge) posted a season-best time of 1:31.37 to finish second.

William Paterson will host Division II Queens on Wednesday, Jan. 15, at 6:00 p.m.
