DOYLESTOWN, Pa. – William Paterson (2-3) ran its streak to five straight one-goal decisions, suffering a 2-1 men's soccer loss at Delaware Valley (2-1) Sept. 12.
The Aggies broke through in the 30th minute when Tyler Yankovich got on the end of goalkeeper Chase Clement's punt and found the back of the net. That lead doubled in the 73rd minute after Steve Mannato finished Daz Alvarez's through ball.

Wes Ostrzycki (Edison, N.J./Edison) put the Pioneers on the board less than two minutes later, heading in classmate

Sophomore goalkeeper
Santiago Mesa (Paterson, N.J./Passaic County Tech) had two saves for WP, and Clement made 10 stops for Delaware Valley. The Pioneers had a 23-5 shot advantage and a 14-2 edge in corner kicks.
William Paterson will begin its New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) schedule Saturday, Sept. 15, at New Jersey City at 1:00 p.m.
