Men’s Swimming & Diving Wins Fourth Straight

Pioneers Defeat Adelphi 135-103

WAYNE, N.J. – William Paterson's men's swimming & diving team (4-3) earned their fourth-straight victory, defeating visiting Division II Adelphi (2-2), 135-103, Dec. 8.

Senior Sebastian Schrils (Washington, N.J./Warren Hills Regional) placed first in the 50 free (22.73). Junior Troy Buglio (Toms River, N.J./Toms River East) won the 500 free (5:25.17). Sophomore Evan Marine (Forked River, N.J./Lacey Twp.) touched first in the 100 back (1:02.63).

The 200 IM team of Schrils, Marine, Donado Dervishi (Garfield, N.J./Garfield) and Eric Tracey (Newton, N.J./Kittatinny Regional) posted a winning time of 1:43.35.

The team of Buglio, Bobby Boyton (Sewell, N.J./Clearview Regional), Alex Carpenter (Jackson, N.J./Jackson Memorial) and Nicolai Robinson (Matawan, N.J./Old Bridge) placed first in the 200 free relay (1:25.36).

William Paterson will go on the road to face Sarah Lawrence on Wednesday, Dec. 12, at 7:00 p.m.
