Wes Ostrzycki (Edison, N.J./Edison) and
Naeem Boucher (Paterson, N.J./St. Benedict's Prep) both found the back of the net as William Paterson (7-1-2, 1-1-1 NJAC) played to a 2-2 double-overtime men's soccer draw at Ramapo (5-2-2, 1-1-1 NJAC) Sept. 28.
Ostrzycki notched his first goal as a Pioneer, finishing an
Anthony Ferrer (Lake Hiawatha, N.J./Parsippany) assist 9:55 into the contest. Rob Santaniello evened things for the Roadrunners, converting a penalty kick in the 27th minute.
Boucher made it a 2-1 WP advantage less than five minutes into the second period, scoring from the top of the box off a
Dan Patton (Pennsauken, N.J./Pennsauken) cross. However, Ramapo once again knotted the score, as Jonathan Yazo finished a Dan Walsh pass into the 18.
William Paterson owned a 22-14 shot advantage, including a 5-2 edge in overtime. WP's
Zach Collins (Bayville, N.J./Central Regional) and Ramapo's Steve Monaghan each made five saves in goal.
William Paterson will host Rowan Sunday, Oct. 1, at 1:00 p.m.
